Study Materials
We believe that the educational material should be simple, precise, easy to understand and practical. So, that even an average student can utilize it. Syllabus : Syllabus for M.Sc. biotech and biological sciences entrance examinations conducted by most of universities and institutions (like JNU, AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU) are not defined. Only IIT and IISc have declared syllabus for entrance test. Practice Books
An exclusive fundamental search based package of multiple choice questions, is basically designed for Biotechnology and Life Science Entrance Examinations by The Pathfinder Academy for students to help them revise, consolidate and polish their knowledge and skills. This includes chapterwise previous years questions along with their solutions from JNU, IIT, IISc, GATE, AIIMS and others Biotechnology/Life sciences entrance examinations. It also includes similar pattern new application based factual and synthetic questions for in-depth understanding of subject and test their comprehension of key concepts. Practice papers contains more than 5000 Multiple Choice Questions and their solutions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Previous Years Solved Papers
This book contains previous year’s solved papers of two very important examinations – Combined Biotech Entrance Examinations and IIT–JAM. This is design to provide the students to know the trend and pattern of questions and measure the level of understanding and their applications.

Online/Postal Unit Tests
There is a misconceptions that merely solving large number of test papers without caring for standard of their questions would prepare one for all India entrance tests like IIT/JNU/IISc/AIIMS. One must note that it is the diversity and standard of questions that matter. Merely solving questions upto the level of 10+2 examination especially in biology lead to nowhere. Standard of questions should be at par with the JNU/IIT/IISc/AIIMS entrance papers. Our postal/online test series is designed to maximize the study gains and further hone up skills Postal/Online test series includes fifteen unit tests. Each unit test paper will contain 120 questions (Bio-50, Che-30, Phy-25, Math-15).

Syllabus of unit tests

Mock Tests
Mock tests will be based on complete syllabus and on particular examination patterns. Fifteen Mock Test Papers along with solution will be dispatched in the last week of December for your self assessment and to develop examination temperament. Total number of Mock Tests will be 15.
They will be on the pattern of

" JNU, Biotechnology: 4 tests,
" IIT, Biotechnology: 4 tests,
" AIIMS, Biotechnology: 3 tests,
" JNU, Life Sciences: 2 tests
All the test papers will be fully objective type. You will be provided with an answer key and detailed explanatory answers to all the questions in each of the mock test. Every mock test paper will be sealed in a separate envelope along with their answers for self checking and to evaluate self performance.

Doubt Classes
We conduct doubt clearing classes that starts from the month of October every year. We organize two classes in one month (only on Saturday or Sunday after 2.30 PM). Doubt clearing session will end in the month of January. Schedule of the doubt clearing session will be  displayed on website in the month of September.

Fees
The cost of the complete material (Study material + Practice Papers + On line/Postal test series + Mock Test Papers) is Rs.5000/- (including Service Tax) for students residing anywhere within India.

Dispatch of study materials
The course materials are presented in two sets. First set will include study material (Biology-two books; Physics-one book; Chemistry-two books; Mathematics-one book), Practice book (Physics-one book; Biology-one book; Chemistry-one book). Second set will include unit tests and mock tests. Dispatch of study materials will begin from June/July every year. Subsequent set will be sent after 15th November. Material is normally sent by Parcel Post or by Private Courier Services. Students can enroll at any time convenient to them but are advised to join early, as it will give them more time for study and revision of the course materials. Students who enroll after December will be sent all the materials together in one lot.
